Players have discovered a hidden mechanic in the Destiny 2 Last Wish raid to skip encounters, unlock triumphs, and more. We list what wishes can come true.
Early on in Destiny 2: Forsaken‘s Last Wish raid players discovered a mysterious button plate in a hidden area near the start of the activity. We even created a short video on how to reach it and included it in our Complete Last Wish Raid guide. Players soon discovered a variety of patterns on shields using the same symbols that play a key role in various raid puzzles. The patterns were even discovered outside of the raid in locations such as a Nessus lost sector and even a trailer video. The secret button and patterns seemed to hold no special meaning, until now.
How to Reach the Hidden Plates Room

It is this room that has changed to now display a large wall made up of several plates adorned with symbols. Each symbol can be shot to make it rotate through the available symbols.
How to Get a Wish in the Last Wish Raid
The following is a list of valid patterns along with the result. In order to trigger a wish, shoot the symbols on the wall until the desired pattern has been created and then step on the button plate to enter the combination.
How to Skip Raid Encounters
You will see in the table of valid combinations below that some of the wishes teleport you past areas of the raid and to the start of boss fights. This appears to be the intended way to skip raid encounters in the Last Wish raid and is similar to how the Leviathan’s Underbelly functions.
Valid Wish Patterns
According to the lote book Wall of Wishes, there are a total of 15 wishes. You can read more about the associated lore at the Isthar Collective. The following patterns have been discovered so far. We will update the table as new combinations emerge.
